The Mt Emily recreation area, located a few miles above La Grande, offers year around recreation. Meg and I have enjoyed regularly going up to the MERA this winter to snow shoe. The weather presents all kind of moods. A crews of volunteers packs the trails. Mountain bikers with fat tires are up there as well.
