Located in the Umatilla National Forest east of the Mt Emily Summit road, the Summit Guard Station is a tranquil place. You need to bring your own water, and there is no electricity. However, propane heat, light, and stove make the cabin cozy. And, as you can see, the wildflowers in May are superb!
